Please join us for our 6th Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Day Service & Dinner.
We will again be volunteering along with Communities Helping & Empowering Patriots (CHEP) to help serve our local military veterans and their families in transition. We will begin serving at 11 am but we will start set up and cooking around 8am.
ALL donations are welcome! Please consider volunteering some time or donating some food to give back a little to a few who gave so much in protection of our freedom!
Please RSVP if you'd like to participate i.e. volunteer, make food, serve... Any help is greatly appreciated.
SOME ITEMS NEEDED:
green beans/green bean casserole
desserts, pies, cakes etc.
mashed potatoes
gravy
macaroni
dinner rolls/breads
sweet potato casserole
cranberry sauce
stuffing
veggies, peas/carrots
drinks soda/tea/water
silverware or any other items you feel like bringing
We will need enough of everything to feed ~40 Veterans/family/staff and all of us who will be serving and celebrating with them for their service.
